Technically, my ceramic work is wheel-thrown, high-fired. All work is glazed on the interior so that it can be functional, although the function if often of a more spiritual nature as a container for a note, a dream, or ashes. My works are inspired by my immediate physical and spiritual environment. Thery are meant as "precious" objects that can be held in the hand, and can be used on many levels. I create vessels, jars, teapots because I believe in that sacred space within each of us and want to share and celebrate that intimate connection. I honor the process.
